Chia sẻ kỹ hơn về vấn đề này, bà Đinh Thu Hằng, nghiên cứu viên của CIEM cho biết, xét về lợi ích, khi gia nhập RCEP, các ngành thuỷ sản, nông sản, công nghiệp xây dựng... sẽ được hưởng lợi lớn nhất.
Sự phát triển chuỗi cung ứng hàng nông sản có thể dẫn tới mở rộng hơn nữa sản xuất và thương mại khu vực. Trong khi đó, tự do hóa dịch vụ trong RCEP sẽ dẫn tới việc tăng đáng kể trong thương mại dịch vụ và đầu tư nước ngoài của khu vực.
Như vậy, ngành dịch vụ của Việt Nam sẽ có nhiều cơ hội phát triển. Cụ thể, Việt Nam có cơ hội lớn cho xuất khẩu trong lĩnh vực phân phối, khách sạn và nhà hàng tới các nước RCEP đặc biệt là Nhật Bản và các nước ASEAN. Ngoài ra, Việt Nam có thể cung cấp dịch vụ phân phối tới Australia ,…
Quan trọng hơn, các nỗ lực tự do hóa khu vực, thuận lợi hóa thương mại và hợp tác phát triển có thể góp phần cắt giảm hơn nữa chi phí liên kết dịch vụ, nhờ đó giảm chi phí của thương mại hàng hóa.
