Dựa vào biểu đồ 3, chúng ta nhận thấy có đến 74% đối tượng nghiên cứu đến các di tích một cách thụ động. Theo chúng tôi đây là một con số rất lớn và là một thực tế rất đáng báo động. Số học sinh thụ động đến đó gấp 3 lần số học sinh chủ động. Việc tìm hiểu và tiếp thu tri thức mà ở đây là tri thức về văn hóa lịch sử lại diễn ra một cách thụ động thì khó có thể đạt hiệu quả cao. Trong việc gì cũng vậy, sự chủ động sẽ rèn luyện cho con người sự nhạy bén và năng suất làm việc, học tập cao. Kết quả của việc tìm hiểu thụ động là học sinh chỉ tiếp thu những kiến thức nhất thời do hướng dẫn viên truyền đạt, dễ dàng quên đi những kiến thức đó và không thể khắc sâu những tri thức quí báu về giá trị của di tích. Như vậy, không phải toàn bộ những học sinh biết đến các di tích đều quan tâm và chủ động đến tìm hiểu chúng.
