Tôi ở Kyoto năm ngày sau đó lên Nagoya ở thêm hai ngày nữa trước khi về lại Việt Nam kết thúc chuyến đi Nhật Bản kéo dài hai tuần lần đầu của mình. Lật từng trang sách trong tác phẩm “lonely planet” mà tôi mang theo, xem qua lại hết những nơi cần đến ở Nagoya trong hai ngày cuối ở đây mà sao tôi thấy toàn là những điểm đến trong thành phố, tất cả đều khá khác với sở thích của mình: nào là tháp truyền hình, nào là nhà cao tầng rồi khu shopping... Tôi thấy một chút chán và ngẫm nghĩ không biết mình sẽ đi đâu chơi đây? không lẽ ghé quán cafe ngắm phố suốt buổi tối để cho qua thời gian trong mấy cái shopping mall? Như vậy thì không tốt! Tôi phải tìm nơi nào đó vùng ngoại ô để trở thành điểm đến của mình...

Search một hồi trên internet, tôi tìm ra Korankei - một ngôi làng nhỏ nằm không xa Nagoya nhưng có quãng đường xa. Tôi đọc trên mấy diễn đàn để xem thêm thông tin thì thấy họ bảo đi kiểu balo có khó khăn chút [đa số dân tình đến đây bằng xe riêng hoặc xe tour] vì phải đổi tàu rồi đi bus hơn một tiếng và kinh dị nhất là bus đi tuyến này rất thưa chuyến... Tôi bán tin bán nghi nên chạy xuống hỏi chàng tiếp tân nhà trọ, bạn ấy cũng nói với tôi rằng mùa này bắt đầu đông khách đến vùng đó rồi nhưng ngại nhất là tôi đi phương tiện công cộng sẽ vất vả và mất nhiều thời gian. Nhìn bạn ấy trả lời tôi cũng hơi chùn bước thế nhưng đoạn cuối bạn ấy tự nhiên nhấn mạnh rằng nếu mày đi được thì nên đi vì tao nghĩ đây là một điểm đáng để đến đó! Như tiếp thêm thuốc, tôi ngay lập tức vào net search đường đến đó rồi chạy lên phòng vác balo ra ga subway để đi liền nhằm tiết kiệm thời gian!
Buổi sáng ở Nagoya, Osaka hay Kyoto chi thì các tuyến subway nào cũng đông ngợp người vì đó là giờ người ta đi làm. Nhiều lúc đi tàu đi subway bên này khỏi cần bước cũng di chuyển được vì luồng người xô vào từ phía sau & hôm nay cũng y chang vậy... tôi chỉ cần đứng xếp hàng thôi là được đẩy lên tàu hoặc xuống tàu khỏe re hehe :)

Tôi đổi qua line khác để đến Akaike rồi từ đó tôi mua vé xe lửa đi Josui. Josui là một ga thuộc thành phố Toyota. Tôi không biết phải đây là nơi sản xuất xe Toyota hay không mà trên phố rất nhiều xe toyota chạy. Từ ga Josui tôi phải đi bus hơn một tiếng nữa mới tới Korankei.Nếu bus có chút tên tiếng Anh thì dễ biết mấy đằng này bus ở vùng Josui này toàn ghi tiếng Nhựt. Tôi đọc trên net có biết là xe bus từ đây đi Korankei chỉ có 1 chuyến mỗi giờ nhưng tôi không biết giờ nào bus chạy & đón bus ở trạm số mấy vì tôi không biết chữ tiếng Nhật Bản nào cả! Vùng này ít người, trạm bus tôi đang đứng vắng lặng, gió thì rít từng cơn lạnh cóng... Tôi chạy ngược lại ga & viết ra chữ Korankei cũng như vẽ hình chiếc bus cùng cái đồng hồ ý là hỏi bus đi Korankei chạy lúc nào... Đáp lại là nụ cười hiền hậu của chú gác ga với chữ "number 1" vậy là tôi hiểu bus số 1, cảm ơn chú xong chạy ra trạm bus nhưng nhìn hoài chẳng thấy bus có số phía trước... Vậy là chạy ngược vào lại hỏi chú gác ga tiếp... Và lần này khá hơn, chú nói tiếng Anh kiểu Nhật Bản rất lạ nhưng tôi đoán được ra từ "bus station 1" hihi...Tôi ra trạm, tìm cây cột có số 1 rồi ngồi đó chờ bus tới. Bus tới, để chắc ăn tôi chạy lên hỏi bác tài bằng cách mở điện thoại có hình cây cầu đỏ nổi tiếng Korankei chỉ vào... & có đến ba bác tài lắc đầu... mãi đến xe bus thứ tư đến tôi mới nhận được cái gật đầu & thế là tôi bắt đầu trải nghiệm xe bus đi Korankei.

Korankei là một làng nhỏ nằm lọt trong thung lũng bao vây bởi núi Limori nơi có ngôi đền Kojakuji & được xem là nơi ngắm lá vàng đỏ mùa thu đẹp nhất vùng Chubu. Vào thế kỷ thứ 17, các tu sĩ ở đền Kojakuji đã trồng cây lá đỏ dọc theo con đường vào đền, sau đó các khu vực lân cận thấy đẹp nên trồng theo... để rồi nguyên một khu rộng lớn bên sông & tựa vào núi, một rừng cây lá vàng lá đỏ đã hình thành & mùa thu, từ giữa tháng 11 đến đầu tháng 12, lá vàng lá đỏ nơi đây ngã màu, tạo thành một bức tranh mùa thu tuyệt vời hút hồn bao lữ khách đến đây.

Con sông Tomoe chảy dọc theo triền núi Limori không sâu lắm & nước rất trong, cùng những phiến đá nhấp nhô là nơi du khách ra đây ngồi ngắm cảnh trời mây sông núi rất đông. Vào lúc rộ mùa lá ngã màu vàng đỏ, cùng với cây cầu Taigetsukyo sơn màu đỏ tươi đã trở thành biểu tượng của vùng Korankei xinh đẹp, được in thành những tấm tranh khổ lớn dán quảng cáo ở khắp các nhà ga, bến xe... để thu hút khách đến tham quan.

Đến Korankei, đi dọc theo con sông Tomoe, mỏi chân thì ngồi trên những tản đá dưới bóng cây lá phong vàng đỏ hít hà không khí trong lành, ngắm nhìn dòng nước trong veo trôi lững lờ cũng thú vị lắm. Chán chường với sông nước thì lang thang theo con đường đất nhỏ men dọc theo chân núi phủ kín bởi những hàng cây thẳng tắp xanh đỏ vàng ngút ngàn cũng tuyệt vời vô cùng... Những chiếc ghế gỗ, những ngôi nhà gỗ nhỏ ven đường nằm sẵn sàng bên đường làm chốn yên để du khách nghỉ chân khi mỏi mệt... hay ghé tạt vào ngôi đền Kojakuji ở lưng chừng đồi rửa mặt bằng ngụm nước mát trong veo múc bằng chiếc gáo làm từ thân tre mộc mạc mà độc đáo tinh tế khó ngờ rồi nghỉ chân đôi chút để tiếp tục dạo bước loanh quanh Korankei.

Nơi lưng chừng núi, ngôi làng Sanshu Asuke nép mình dưới rừng cây như điểm thêm nét đẹp cho Korankei. Những ngôi nhà gỗ cũ kiểu truyền thống của người Nhật Bản dung dị, đơn sơ cùng với xưởng gỗ, tiệm làm đèn lồng, xưởng làm giấy thô... làm cho lữ khách đến đây càng thêm thích thú. Xen kẻ vào đó là chuồng bò với những chú bò đang gặm cỏ khô lẫn đâu đó là tiếng cục ta cục tác của bầy gà, tiếng véo von của lũ chim trên cây hay những chú sóc nhảy lóc cóc trên cành... tất cả tạo nên một Korankei xinh đẹp, yên bình & đầy màu sắc.

Mùa thu là mùa du khách kéo về Korankei đông nhất. Những mùa khác vẫn có du khách lai rai đến đây nhưng không nhiều bởi mùa thu sắc vàng sắc đỏ nơi đây làm cho cảnh trí đẹp hơn bội phần. Những ngày đông khách vào dịp lá rộ ngã màu đỏ vàng, người ta tổ chức nhạc hội hàng ngày đến đêm... đèn được thắp sáng dưới các tán cây để du khách thưởng ngoạn đến tận 9h đêm & nghe nói đường đi Korankei cũng kẹt xe khủng khiếp lắm! có khi mất cả nữa ngày mới đến được đây.

Tôi trở lại trạm xe bus nhỏ xíu ở ven đường có hai hàng ghế gỗ mộc mạc dễ thương không thể tả ngồi chờ xe quay về lại Nagoya khi trời sắp về chiều sau khi ghé vào quán nhỏ ven sông ngồi thưởng thức tô mì udon & cây kem trà xanh ngon ngất ngây không thể tả. Tôi mê món gì dính đến trà xanh ở Nhật Bản nên hầu như ngày nào cũng dành ra chút tiền để thưởng thức... có bữa là bánh, có bữa là kem, có bữa là món gì gì đó tôi không nhớ tên nhưng đều có trà xanh dính vào đó. Đi Nhật Bản tôi thấy chẳng có món nào tôi không ăn được... mà toàn là món tôi muốn ăn nhiều nhưng ngân sách hạn hẹp nên phải giới hạn không thể xả láng... sáng về sớm được nên có lẽ mình phải hẹn nước Nhật Bản để gặp lại ít nhất là vài ba lần nữa bởi nghe nói mùa nào nước Nhật Bản cũng đẹp hết trơn á!
