Điều trị trúng đích bệnh Bạch cầu mạn dòng tủy (CML) bằng Imatinib (Glivec): Từ tháng 8/2005, bệnh viện TMHH đã bắt đầu triển khai điều trị bệnh bạch cầu mạn dòng tủy bằng Imatinib (Glivec). Tính đến cuối năm 2014, tổng số bệnh nhân đã sử dụng Glivec là 1043 bệnh nhân. Mười năm qua, từ ngày những trường hợp đầu tiên tại Việt Nam được hỗ trợ Imatinib, hơn 1500 bệnh nhân bị bệnh bạch cầu mạn dòng tủy đã trở về với cuộc sống bình thường, không những làm giảm đi gánh nặng xã hội mà chính họ đã góp tay thêm xây dựng gia đình và cộng đồng tốt đẹp.
