Với phương châm “Bảo tồn tài nguyên và bảo vệ môi trường” là trách nhiệm hàng đầu của Toyota vn. Các dòng xe của Toyota đều đạt tiêu chuẩn, chất lương về xả thải khí CO2 ra môi trường và được kiểm định nghiêm ngặt. Công ty đang thực hiện mục tiêu xoá bỏ toàn bộ khí thải CO2 trên xe trong những năm tới. Đẩy mạnh sử dụng các nguyên vật liệu sinh học tái chế cho sản xuất, thiết kế để việc tháo dỡ và tái chế được dễ dàng. Toyota vn sẽ giảm thiểu lượng khí thải CO2 thông qua việc không ngừng đổi mới cải tiến công nghệ cũng như áp dụng các phương thức sản xuất với lượng CO2 thấp, nhằm đảm bảo giảm thiểu lượng khí thải CO2 tại công đoạn sản xuất mỗi mẫu xe trong các nhà máy và dây chuyền lắp ráp mới. Phát triển công nghệ sản xuất sử dụng Hydro làm nguồn năng lượng chủ yếu và sản xuất ra những chiếc xe chạy bằng pin thân thiện với môi trường. Toyota sẽ đẩy mạnh công tác xử lý nước thải hiệu quả và tối thiểu hóa lượng nước sử dụng, áp dụng công nghệ mới tiết kiệm nước công nghiệp thông qua tận dụng nước mưa, thanh lọc triệt để nước thải tại nhà máy và tái sử dụng.
