Inequality can reduce growth if the cause of the inequality that is due to differences in national origin, gender, and the opportunism of inequality in access to education.
Collapse low income and low living standards of the poor diet leads to, poor health status and less access to advanced education system. This reduces the opportunity to participate in economic activities and productivity of their employees, and thus directly or indirectly adversely affect the growth process. Labor skills also indirectly affect the quality of growth through the use and management of natural resources better. Income is an important issue when deciding access to basic services. The "socialized" health care and education in Vietnam is focused on sharing the costs and social responsibility among individuals, state and non-state sector. Therefore, the increase in income disparity will contribute to increase the gap in terms of society, including disparities in enrollment rates (especially in secondary and tertiary level) and disparities in access to medical services. Compared with the poor, the rich households to spend more on the education of children in general and for the remedial courses and tutoring in particular. With these advantages, the rich students learn better and can reach the level of training and higher skills. Although inequality of education in Vietnam has decreased in recent years, particularly in primary education, but the education of poor rural children remain low and the children born in the family economic conditions will determine how the children get to school or not. Therefore, income inequality in the present will lead to lasting poverty across generations in the future.
