Ùn tắc giao thông là do sự mất cân đối giữa cung và cầu đối với hệ thống giao thông vận tải mà trong thực tế hiện nay là cầu đang vượt quá cung, cung không đáp ứng được với sự tăng trưởng của cầu, đã dẫn đến tình trạng ùn tắc giao thông tại Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh hiện nay. Hiện tượng tắc nghẽn giao thông ngày càng tăng và nguyên nhân chính là do sự bùng nổ dân số, thu nhập người dân tăng.
Việc ùn tắc giao thong sẽ dẫn đến tai nạn giao thông, ô nhiễm không khí... Những vấn đề này đã tác động tiêu cực đến đời sống, sức khỏe người dân, môi trường sinh thái và sự phát triển bền vững của TP.HCM.
Biện pháp:
