Cả năm học, học sinh phải đóng học phí từng học kì theo quy định nơi học, và học kì 1 bắt đầu từ tháng 9 đến tháng 12 sau đó được nghỉ Tết khoảng 1 tuần và bắt đầu học kì 2 từ tháng 1 - tháng 5, áp dụng cho cả 3 cấp. Trong đó, giáo dục tiểu học bắt đầu đi học từ lúc 6- 10 tuổi, từ lớp 1- lớp 5. Trung học cơ sở từ 11-14 tuổi, từ lớp 6- lớp 9. Trung học phổ thông từ 15-17 tuổi, từ lớp 10-lớp 12. Hệ thống giáo dục bắt buộc là 9 năm từ cấp 1 - cấp 2. Sau khi kết thúc cả ba năm học cấp ba, học sinh sẽ được cấp Chứng chỉ giáo dục Trung học phổ thông.
