Việt Nam – Thái Lan là hai nước thuộc khu vực Đông Nam Á có quan hệ giao lưu kinh tế từ rất lâu đời. Năm 1995, sau khi Việt Nam gia nhập ASEAN, mối quan hệ này đã vượt qua nhiều thách thức, không ngừng được củng cố và ngày càng phát triển nhất là vào tháng 2/2004 khi hai nước ra Tuyên bố về Khuôn khổ hợp tác Việt Nam – Thái Lan trong thập niên đầu thế kỷ XXI đặc biệt kể từ khi hai nước ký hiệp định đối tác chiến lược (6/2013) và cùng hướng tới xây dựng cộng đồng kinh tế ASEAN (12/2015) vừng mạnh,. Bài viết thông qua việc trình bày và luận giải sự phát triển quan hệ kinh tế Việt Nam – Thái Lan trên những lĩnh vực kinh tế chủ yếu: Thương mại, đầu tư và hợp tác đa phương thời kỳ này. Đồng thời, đánh giá những vận hội mới những thuận lợi và hạn chế trong quan hệ hai nước.
