Đa số các em muốn tìm hiểu thêm kiến thức chuyên ngành nên chủ động học Hóa bằng tiếng Anh để có khả năng tìm hiểu nghiên cứu chuyên ngày Hóa, giúp mở rộng và nâng cao kiến thức. Có đến 117 học sinh lựa chọn mình muốn tìm hiểu thêm nhiều kiến thức về Hóa học. Một nhu cầu rất lớn hiện nay là việc đi du học. Học Hóa bằng tiếng Anh sẽ cung cấp cho các em một lượng lớn từ vựng chuyên ngành, một số lý thuyết chuyên ngành bằng tiếng Anh giúp các em có làm quen với lý thuyết Hóa học bằng tiếng Anh. Và chiếm tỉ lệ cũng rất cao (36/172 học sinh), đó là các học sinh học vì sở thích, niềm đam mê môn hóa học. Còn lại một bộ phận nhỏ học sinh học đơn giản vì gia đình ép buộc, đây là chương trình bắt buộc của nhà trường...
