Ông Bobby Chinn - đầu bếp nổi tiếng người New Zealand vừa được Bộ Văn hóa Thể thao và Du lịch chọn làm Đại sứ Du lịch Việt Nam tại châu Âu trong vòng ba năm. Lễ bổ nhiệm đã diễn ra tại Anh vào tối 17-7.Bobby Chinn là đầu bếp, người dẫn chương trình truyền hình chuyên mục "Du lịch và Đời sống" và chương trình “Bobby Chinn - Nấu ăn châu Á” của kênh truyền hình Discovery. Ông là tác giả của một số cuốn sách về ẩm thực châu Á cũng như Việt Nam. Đầu bếp nổi tiếng này đã làm việc tại Việt Nam hàng chục năm nay và có nhà hàng tại Việt Nam.Theo thông tin từ Tổng cục Du lịch, ngành du lịch có kế hoạch bổ nhiệm một số đại sứ du lịch ở những thị trường quan trọng như châu Mỹ, Nga, Úc.
