BOD đã phê duyệt chủ trương khởi động lại dự án 3DS đồng thời trình VRB phê duyệt việc điều chỉnh tăng ngân sách thêm 80,000 USD (phê duyệt ban đầu theo kế hoạch của năm 2015 là 70,000 USD) nâng tổng mức ngân sách cho dự án thành 150,000 USD (bằng chữ: một trăm năm mươi nghìn đô la Mỹ) do thực tế phát sinh từ quá trình khảo sát để triển khai dự án dẫn đến chi phí vượt ngân sách đã được VRB phê duyệt.
