Các vịnh hẹp, những truyền thuyết về người Viking tóc vàng cao lớn… là những điều đầu tiên khi người ta nhớ về Na Uy. Nhưng đất nước vùng Bắc Âu này còn rất nhiều điều để bạn khám phá.

Hình ảnh các công trình kiến trúc ở vùng nông thôn nổi bật trên nền cảnh quan thơ mộng như bước ra từ cổ tích luôn thôi thúc những bước chân thích khám phá tìm đến đất nước vùng Bắc Âu này.

* Các nhà thờ với chất liệu hoàn toàn bằng gỗ thông có sàn cứng là một trong những kiến trúc đặc trưng của Na Uy.

Đa số nhà thờ gỗ Na Uy là sự kết hợp độc đáo giữa các biểu tượng truyền thống Kitô giáo với các họa tiết Viking từ thời kỳ tiền Kitô giáo, đặc biệt có những cảnh chiến đấu giữa các quái vật trong thần thoại Bắc Âu hiển thị trên các cột và mặt tiền nhà thờ.

Trong số các nhà thờ gỗ, Borgund Stave được xây dựng từ thế kỷ 12 còn được gọi là “Nhà thờ bậc thang”, là một trong những nhà thờ Trung cổ có phong cách kiến trúc của Giáo hội Stave. Nhờ vào sự bảo tồn nghiêm ngặt của chính quyền, Borgund Stave vẫn còn nguyên vẹn như thuở ban đầu.

Hiện tại nhà thờ này là nơi lưu giữ nhiều văn bản cổ của nền văn minh Viking vùng Bắc Âu. Nhưng lâu đời và nổi tiếng nhất là nhà thờ gỗ Urnes (di sản của UNESCO từ năm 1979) nhìn ra vịnh hẹp Lustrafjord ở Ornes thuộc Sogn og Fjordane, và nhà thờ gỗ lớn nhất Na Uy là Heddal tại thành phố Notodden.

* Trên đường đến nhà thờ gỗ Borgund, du khách sẽ đi qua con đường cổ xưa Vindhellavegen. Nhìn từ trên cao, Vindhellavegen giống như một con rắn khổng lồ hiên ngang trườn giữa núi rừng.

Đây là một trong những điểm tham quan chính của Laerdal.

* Valldal là một thung lũng dài 30km chuyên canh trái cây xứ lạnh và dâu tây thuộc Romsdal ở phía Tây Na Uy.

Bao quanh Valldal là những dãy núi cao hùng vĩ cùng những ngọn đồi ngút mắt. Một dòng sông hoang dã chảy qua thung lũng tạo nên một số thác nước giúp quang cảnh Valldal thêm phần quyến rũ.

Vì vậy, con đường 63 qua Valldal kết nối Trollstigen, nơi có con đường ngoằn ngoèo chữ chi qua núi nổi tiếng ở phía Bắc và Geiranger, hai điểm tham quan nổi tiếng Na Uy được gọi là “Golden Route”.

Sau khi ghi lại những hình ảnh tuyệt mỹ ở Valldal, bạn nhớ thưởng thức những các loại trái cây đặc sản, đặc biệt dâu tây vùng Valldal nức tiếng ngon tuyệt.

* Thác Latefossen với dòng nước đôi ở thị trấn Odda, phía Tây Na Uy, không cao nhất hay lớn nhất thế giới nhưng không ai có thể phủ nhận vẻ đẹp lộng lẫy của nó.

Hai dòng chảy riêng biệt của thác Latefossen xuất phát từ hồ Lotevatnet, đổ từ độ cao 165m và gặp nhau tại phần giữa thác rồi chảy dưới một cây cầu sáu vòm mộc mạc đã tạo ra một cảnh tượng ngoạn mục.

Hình ảnh này đã giúp người dân quanh thác luôn bận rộn trước dòng du khách rồng rắn kéo đến thưởng ngoạn dù khó nhìn thấy toàn bộ quang cảnh thác.

Các con đường nhỏ hẹp và hình dạng uốn lượn của thác Latefossen che khuất góc nhìn mà đôi khi các nhiếp ảnh gia chuyên nghiệp cũng phải tốn rất nhiều thời gian để có được những bức ảnh đẹp nhất.

Bù lại, xung quanh thác có rất nhiều đường mòn được khai quang cho phép du khách có được góc ảnh ấn tượng về dòng nước xoáy của thác Latefossen dưới chân cầu…

* Kvednafossen là một ngọn thác ở Oppland, phía Đông Na Uy, khiến du khách phải mơ ước tìm đến khi nhìn thấy hình ảnh dòng thác đổ xuống các bậc thang đá tự nhiên và bên cạnh là một căn nhà nhỏ đơn côi.

Hiện nay tàu hỏa là cách duy nhất để đến khu vực thác Kvednafossen.

* Nơi “kết thúc của thế giới” (Verdens ende) là biệt danh mà những du khách ở đầu thế kỷ 20 đặt cho điểm cực Nam của Tjome, thuộc hạt Vestfold, nơi có tầm nhìn toàn cảnh hướng ra vùng biển Skagerrak và những tảng đá tuyệt đẹp để du khách có thể vẫy vùng dưới làn nước hay vừa thả cần câu vừa ngắm nhìn thiên nhiên xung quanh.

Năm 1932, khi công trình hải đăng với ngọn đèn biển lắc lư và nhà hàng được xây dựng thì ngôi làng Tjome đã được giới du lịch tìm đến.

Giờ đây Tjome có một bến du thuyền lớn cùng các cơ sở hạ tầng khá đầy đủ. Vào hè, những bãi biển ở Tjome tràn ngập du khách lẫn dân địa phương để tận hưởng nắng ấm vùng Bắc Âu…

* Renndolsetra là trang trại truyền thống miền núi ở Innerdalen, một trong những thung lũng đẹp nhất Na Uy và là thiên đường cho loại hình đi bộ trải nghiệm khám phá. Sau ba giờ đi bộ từ bãi đỗ xe, bạn sẽ đến Renndolsetra.
