Trong giai đoạn hiện nay, việc giáo dục đạo đức cho học sinh trung học cơ sở là vô cùng quan trọng. Việc các em hình thành các thói quen tự giác, phát hiện ra tri thức phục vụ cho việc học tập cũng như các kỹ năng sông cần thiết để bản thân các em tự hoàn thiện mình. Sống yêu thương, sống tự chủ và sống có trách nhiệm là bổn phận của tất cả các em học sinh trung học cơ sở và mỗi người công dân. Bài viết tập trung về việc đề xuất quy trình dạy học vận dụng phương pháp giáo dục đạo đức theo định hướng năng lực cho học sinh Trung học cơ sở trong môn giáo dục công dân. Bên cạnh đó đề xuất một số kiến nghị với các cấp giáo dục trong việc giáo dục nói chung và đối với môn giáo dục công dân trung học cơ sở nói riêng.
