Sáng ngày 05/09/2014, trường THCS Vân Nội tổ chức lễ khai giảng năm học mới 2014 - 2015. Về dự có các cấp lãnh đạo tỉnh ủy, UBND, phòng GD&DT huyện Đông Anh - Hà Nội.

Buổi lễ diễn ra long trọng và ý nghĩa, đặc biệt sôi động trong tiết mục văn nghệ với sự góp mặt của đoàn văn nghệ sĩ nổi tiếng như: NSUT Hồng Liên, Phúc Tiệp (Giải nhì Sao mai 2007, giảng viên khoa thanh nhạc học viện âm nhạc quốc gia Việt Nam), ca sĩ Tuấn Ngọc...Với những ca khúc về biển đảo, quê hương đất nước, chào năm học mới, tuổi học trò, đã làm cháy lên trong tim các em học sinh tình yêu quê hương, biển đảo, tạo cho các em ý chí quyết tâm học tập để xây dựng bảo vệ quê hương đất nước. Phát biểu và đánh trống tựu trường, đồng chí Nguyễn Thế Mỹ hiệu trưởng chúc các em học sinh có một năm học mới tiếp tục phát huy truyền thống lịch sử hơn 50 năm vẻ vang của trường và gặt hái nhiều thành tích cao hơn nữa.
