(f) Mô tả công cụ / phương pháp luận xác định, phân loại và quản lý dữ liệu: bao gồm nhưng không giới hạn
- cách thức xác định các thuộc tính đi kèm như định danh dữ liệu, chủ dữ liệu (data owner), domain của dữ liệu, nguồn dữ liệu tin cậy (golden data source), mức độ bảo mật, tiêu chuẩn chất lượng, mức độ quan trọng (để xác định CDE), sự liên quan đến các dữ liệu khác trong Ngân hàng, v.v.
- phương pháp luận phải đảm bảo bao trùm hết các dữ liệu đang có /sẽ có, các dạng dữ liệu hard/soft copy, có cấu trúc hoặc phi cấu trúc, theo sát quá trình luân chuyển của dữ liệu và biến đổi/thay đổi,
- kết quả của phương pháp luận phải đơn nhất (ví dụ một dữ liệu chỉ có một chủ dữ liệu (owner)/ chỉ thuộc về một domain), lặp lại và kiểm chứng được, có khả năng tự động hóa (ví dụ tự động xác định mức độ bảo mật theo nội dung dữ liệu), có thể quản lý bằng các ứng dụng CNTT về sau.
