Một trong những nguyên nhân chính khiến người nghèo ngày càng nghèo và ngày càng mắc nợ nhiều hơn là bởi vì cách kiếm ra tiền, chi tiêu sử dụng tiền,sinh ra tiền không được dạy ở trường học. Điều này chúng ta dễ có thể nhận thấy rõ, hầu hết những đứa trẻ học được cách ứng xử với vấn đề tiền bạc thông qua cha mẹ chúng chứ không phải từ trong nhà trường. Sự khác biệt giữa người giàu và người nghèo là cách họ dạy con, người nghèo luôn thúc dục con cái học hành chăm chỉ bao bọc kỹ càng cho chúng, người giàu có luôn dùng hành động của chính mình để dạy cho con cái hay những người xung quanh cách kiếm ra tiền và sử dụng chính đồng tiền mình kiếm ra như thế nào cho hiệu quả.
