Bản kết luận đó có thể coi như một giả thuyết, và ta phải đưa vào thực tiễn để kiểm nghiệm. Việc này hết sức quan trọng trong việc hình thành nên tri thức thực sự. Theo Kolb và những người theo đường lối tạo dựng (hay “kiến tạo” – constructivism), chân lí cần được lĩnh hội, hoặc kiểm chứng được.
