Bốn sinh viên thuộc chương trình Liên kết Quốc tế và Tiên tiến của ĐH Bách Khoa TP.HCM có thành tích học tập và hoạt động Đoàn hội xuất sắc đã nhận được bốn suất học bổng Chương trình Sinh viên Quốc tế của ĐH Công nghệ Toyohashi, Nhật Bản từ ngày 26/10 đến 1/11/2014.

1. Trịnh Trần Mai Kim Hoàng, SV K12 Xây dựng (chương trình Liên kết Quốc tế với ĐH Griffith, Úc), điểm GPA 9.86

2. Trần Hồng Ân, SV K12 Điện - Điện tử (chương trình Tiên tiến, ĐH Bách Khoa TP.HCM), điểm GPA 8.16

3. Lê Khánh Nhân, SV K12 Quản trị Kinh doanh (chương trình Liên kết Quốc tế với ĐH Illinois Springfield, Mỹ), điểm GPA 8.86

4. Võ Thế Nguyên, SV K13 Điện - Điện tử (chương trình Tiên tiến, ĐH Bách Khoa TP.HCM), điểm GPA 8.26

Khung chương trình khá dày đặc với nhiều hoạt động hội thảo, thuyết trình chuyên môn, song cũng xen lẫn đa dạng các chuyến thăm viếng bảo tàng, công viên, mua sắm, giải trí, ăn uống... Có thể kể đến như:

- tham quan các phòng thí nghiệm, trung tâm kỹ thuật công nghệ cao như Công viên Nhiên liệu Sinh khối Toyogawa, Bảo tàng Công nghiệp và Kỹ thuật Toyota...

- tham dự và trình bày tại các buổi hội thảo chủ đề như "Thành phố tương lai", "Công nghệ cho sức khỏe con người", "Phát triển công nghiệp và bảo vệ môi trường", "Đời sống học xá"...

- tham gia lớp học tiếng Nhật ngắn hạn

Đây là học bổng thường niên của ĐH Công nghệ Toyohashi dành cho sinh viên các trường ĐH châu Á, nhằm khuyến khích tinh thần tư duy quốc tế cho sinh viên, tăng cường giao lưu, chia sẻ hiểu biết lẫn nhau. Chương trình lần này có sự tham dự của sinh viên đến từ các trường ĐH của Trung Quốc, Thái Lan, Malaysia, Indonesia.

Mặt khác, chương trình còn đem đến cơ hội thăm viếng Nhật Bản cho sinh viên quốc tế, tiếp cận nét đẹp văn hóa Nhật Bản nói chung và truyền thống của ĐH Công nghệ Toyohashi nói riêng.
