Đã đạt được nhiều bước tiến lớn trong việc xây dựng các mối quan hệ đối tác toàn cầu cho phát triển , trong đó có việc gia nhập tổ chức thương mại thế giới, mở rộng hợp tác với asean, ủy viên không thường trực của hội đồng bảo an liên hợp quốc trong 1 nhiệm kỳ, và tham gia 1 số hiệp định thương mại tự do mới, để đảm bảo công bằng xã hội và tính bền vững của quá trình phát triển đất nước, cần có những mối quan hệ đối tác lâu dài và mở rộng ở tất cả các lĩnh vực trong năm sắp tới đặc biệt là thông qua các hoạt động thương mại, xóa nợ và viện trợ
