Qua bảng trên cho thấy hoạt động tín dụng của SCB chi nhánh Hóc Môn đã có sự tăng trưởng rõ rệt qua các năm, đặc biệt là năm 2014 tăng đến 62.139 % so với năm 2013. Năm 2014 dư nợ cho vay tiêu dùng đã tăng lên đáng kể, nâng cao tỷ trọng trên tổng dư nợ cho vay. Đây là một kết quả đáng khích lệ cho thấy ngân hàng đã bắt đầu thực hiện việc phát triển hoạt động theo mô hình ngân hàng bán lẻ. Tuy nhiên, tỷ trọng cho vay tiêu dùng trên tổng dư nợ chưa cao (mới chỉ chiếm khoảng 29%), chưa khai thác được thế mạnh về thị trường cho vay tiêu dùng trên địa bàn trong hoạt động cho vay tiêu dùng.
Bên cạnh đó, tốc độ tăng trưởng cho vay tiêu dùng chưa tương ứng với tăng trưởng tín dụng. Cụ thể năm 2014, tốc độ tăng trưởng doanh số cho vay là 62.139%, trong khi đó, doanh số cho vay tiêu dùng chỉ tăng 52.366% so với năm 2013. Con số trên cho thấy SCB Hóc Môn vẫn đang tiếp tục mở rộng cho vay các sản phẩm truyền thống như cho vay doanh nghiệp lớn, cho vay xuất nhập khẩu và đầu tư sản xuất. Mặc dù vậy, cơ cấu dư nợ đang chuyển dần theo hướng tích cực, tăng dần tỷ trọng cho vay tiêu dùng và tích cực mở rộng đối tượng khách hàng cá nhân.
