Theo Giáo sư TSKH Bành Tiến Long, Chủ tịch Hội đồng Biên tập các công trình khoa học Châu Á và Chủ tịch Hội đồng Biên tập các công trình khoa học Việt Nam, ICATSD2016 là hội nghị quốc tế lớn, có ý nghĩa cao trong việc đào tạo nguồn nhân lực và phát triển Khoa học công nghệ. Ông đánh giá cao chất lượng các bài báo cáo khoa học tại Hội nghị lần này.
“Trong hoạt động khoa học công nghệ, các đơn vị cần gắn các mục tiêu, nhiệm vụ KHCN với các mục tiêu, nhiệm vụ phát triển kinh tế xã hội của từng ngành, từng địa phương. Đồng thời mong muốn và đề nghị các giáo sư, các nhà khoa học quốc tế tiếp tục hỗ trợ Việt Nam đào tạo nhân lực khoa học, kết nối với cộng đồng khoa học trên thế giới" - Bà Nguyễn Thị Vân Nga, Phó vụ trưởng Vụ Phát triển nguồn nhân lực (Bộ Công Thương) nhấn mạnh tại Hội nghị.
