Correlation coefficient values between -1 and 1. The correlation coefficient equal to 0 (or nearly 0) means that the two variables are not related to each other; whereas if the coefficient of -1 or 1 means two variables have an absolute relationship. If the value of the correlation coefficient is negative (r <0) means that when x increases, then y decreases (and vice versa, when x decreases, y increases); if the value is a positive correlation coefficient (r> 0) means that when x then y also rose higher, and when x increases, then y decreases.
