Khoảng 9.000 người thuộc 33 thành phố tại 17 quốc gia châu Á-Thái Bình Dương được khảo sát trong nghiên cứu này, với việc đánh giá mức độ hài lòng cuộc sống thông qua bốn hạng mục: Công việc và tài chính, sự an toàn từ những đe doạ, sự thoả mãn cuộc sống và hạnh phúc cá nhân. Chỉ số này được tính với điểm 0 cho thấy sự tiêu cực nhất, 100 là tích cực nhất và 50 là quan điểm trung lập.

About 9000 people in 33 cities in 17 countries in Asia-Pacific region surveyed in this study, with the assessment of the level of satisfaction of life through four categories: financial, work and safety from the threat, life satisfaction and personal happiness. This index is calculated with a score of 0 indicates the most negative, 100 is the most positive and 50 is neutral perspective.
