Luật Nhà ở sửa đổi cho phép người nước ngoài mua nhà tại Việt Nam tạo ra bước ngoặc lớn cho thị trường năm 2015. Chính sách này kích thích thị trường trường tiêu thụ một lượng lớn sản phẩm tồn kho của phân khúc nhà cao cấp và cởi bỏ rào cản tâm lý của chủ đầu tư cũng như khách hàng. Cụ thể, đối tượng áp dụng gồm tổ chức, cá nhân người nước ngoài, DN có vốn đầu tư nước ngoài, chi nhánh, văn phòng đại diện của DN nước ngoài, quỹ đầu tư nước ngoài và chi nhánh ngân hàng nước ngoài đang hoạt động tại Việt Nam; Cá nhân nước ngoài được phép nhập cảnh vào VN. Được mua, thuê mua, nhận tặng cho, nhận thừa kế và sở hữu không quá 30% số lượng căn hộ trong một tòa nhà chung cư.

Housing law amendment allowing foreigners to buy houses in Vietnam created the greatest market for the year 2015. Specifically, objects include the Organization, foreign individuals, foreign-invested FIRMS, branches, representative offices of foreign ENTERPRISES, foreign investment funds and foreign bank branches are operating in Vietnam; Foreign individuals are allowed entry into the Ph. Is buy, hire-purchase, receive gifts, inheritance and owning no more than 30% of the number of apartments in a residential building.
