Với 41 lượt dự án đăng ký tăng vốn đầu tư, tổng vốn đăng ký tăng thêm ở mức 708,79 triệu USD, vỏn vẹn bằng 3% so với cùng kỳ năm 2013. Như vậy, tính chung trong 2 tháng đầu năm 2014, tổng vốn đăng ký cấp mới và tăng thêm vào Việt Nam đạt mức 1,54 tỷ USD, giảm 62,5% so với cùng kỳ năm 2013. Tuy vậy, vốn giải ngân ước đạt 1,12 tỷ USD, vẫn tăng 6,7% với cùng kỳ năm 2013.
