Tôi viết bức giới thiệu này để đề cử anh Nguyễn Xuân Hưng vào chương trình học sau đại học của trường bạn. 5 năm làm việc cùng nhau cho tôi kết luận rằng Hưng là 1 trong những học sinh suất sắc nhất của tôi trong khoa TCNH- ĐH Thương Mại.

Ngay khi còn là sinh viên Hưng chứng minh khả năng thu thập và phân tích số liệu rất tốt. Tôi được phân công hướng dẫn Hưng thực hiện khóa luận tốt nghiệp: ”Phát triển hoạt động cho vay doanh nghiệp vừa và nhỏ của NHTMCP An Bình– Chi nhánh Hà Nội” đề tài này rất hay và thực tế, nhưng việc thu thập dữ liệu là khó khăn bởi các Ngân hàng thường chỉ công bố số liệu của toàn Ngân hàng mà không có báo cáo chi tiết của từng chi nhánh. Tuy nhiên, anh ấy đã có 1 cách rất sáng tạo mà làm tôi khá bất ngờ đó là đã đến trực tiếp chi nhánh thu thập số liệu cùng với phát phiếu điều tra, sau đó đối chiếu kết quả với các chi nhánh khác và với số liệu tổng của ngân hàng để có được số liệu chính xác nhất cho bài báo cáo của mình. Sau đó anh ấy sử dụng phần mềm SPSS để phân tích đánh giá kết quả thu được- điều mà hiếm sinh viên nào làm được. Khóa luận này đã xứng đáng giành điểm số cao nhất của khoa năm 2013. Ngoài ra anh ấy còn có khả năng lãnh đạo nhóm rất tốt, qua các môn học mà tôi dạy như: Quản trị rủi ro trong đầu tư chứng khoán, Quản trị tài chính..Hưng với vai trò trưởng nhóm thảo luận luôn biết quản lý nhóm, lên kế hoạch, phân công thực hiên công việc để đem về điểm số cao nhất cho nhóm.

Sau khi tốt nghiệp Hưng có rất nhiều đóng góp cho khoa và trường trong hoạt động giảng dạy va tình nguyện. Tôi thường mời anh ấy là trợ giảng trong một số bài giảng của tôi. Hưng giúp tôi soạn thảo chương trình giảng dạy và đôi khi chia sẻ cho sinh viên các kiến thức và kinh nghiệm thực tế nhằm giúp họ hiểu sâu bài giảng và áp dụng kiến thức vào thực tế sau này.

Với niềm đam mê chia sẻ kiến thức và khuyến khích thế hệ học sinh tương lai, Hưng đã xin thành công làm adjunct professor dạy lớp Thị trường chứng khoán trong khoa tôi. Hưng đã đưa ra 1 ý tưởng để thay đổi buổi thảo luận thông thường bằng việc khuyến khích các nhóm quay clip hoặc đóng kịch trên lớp về các chủ đề được thảo luận. Phương pháp dạy mới lạ này giúp sinh viên rèn luyện cả về mặt kiến thức lẫn kỹ năng mềm, hơn nữa làm cho buổi thảo luận trở nên phấn khích hơn, cổ vũ tinh thần học tập của sinh viên.

Với tôi Hưng không chỉ là sinh viên của tôi mà còn là 1 người cộng tác tuyệt vời trong hoạt động nghiên cứu và viết báo. Trong thời gian dài làm việc cùng nhau tôi phát hiện ở Hưng khả năng nghiên cứu và viết báo nổi bật . Anh ấy có khả năng tuy duy mạch lạc, trình bày và giải quyết vấn đề xuất sắc . Bên canh đó là vốn kỹ năng thu thập dữ liệu, Hưng đã có đóng góp rất lớn với tôi để hoàn thành 02 bài báo trên Tạp chí bộ công thương (1 trong những tờ báo lớn và uy tín nhấ t về tài chính và kinh tế ở Việt Nam): Khai thác và sử dụng nguồn lực kinh doanh của Ngân hàng TMCP Công Thương Việt Nam và Quy định pháp lý về tỷ lệ bảo đảm an toàn vốn trong kinh doanh của Ngân hàng thương mại- Thông lệ quốc tế và Việt Nam .

Tôi tin rằng với những kiến thức và tố chất của mình, Hưng hoàn toàn là 1 ứng viên sáng giá cho chương trình học sau đại học của quý vị. Trong môi trường học tập tiến tiến ở trường bạn, anh ấy sẽ không ngừng phát triển bản thân và đóng góp cho chương trình học của bạn cũng như cho Việt Nam sau khi anh ấy tốt nghiệp.
