IV. MỘT SỐ LƯU Ý ĐỐI VỚI GIÁO VIÊN KHI DẠY THỰC HÀNH KỸ NĂNG NÓI CHO HỌC SINH LỚP 10
1. Giới thiệu chủ đề, ngữ cảnh, tình huống, nội dung liên quan đến bài nói, tìm hiểu xem học sinh đã biết hay chưa hiểu biết rõ về nội dung sẽ nói, gợi trí tò mò tạo hứng thú về nội dung bài sắp nói.
2. Cho học sinh đoán nghĩa trước những điều sắp nói trong một ngữ cảnh nhất định. Điều này gây sự chú ý của học sinh vào bài nói và gây hứng thú cho học sinh trong quá học.
3. Cung cấp một số từ và cấu trúc cần thiết, tuy nhiên là không cần giới thiệu hết từ mới, nên để học sinh đoán nghĩa của từ trong ngữ cảnh. Nếu học sinh không hiểu nghĩa của từ, giáo viên sẽ giải thích hoặc cho ví dụ.
4. Soạn ra các yêu cầu, nhiệm vụ và bài tập về nội dung nói .
5. Khi tiến hành các hoạt động nói, việc dùng trực quan, tranh, hình ảnh minh hoạ kèm theo sẽ hỗ trợ rất tốt cho ngữ cảnh, gợi ý nội dung sắp nói.
6.Tiến hành nói theo 3 giai đoạn: Giai đoạn chuẩn bị nói (pre- speaking) cung cấp ngữ liệu, giai đoạn luyện nói có kiểm soát (while - speaking - controlled practice) và cuối cùng là giai đoạn nói tự do (post speaking - free practice- production).
