Tóm lại, quản lý HOẠT ĐỘNG GIÁO DỤC KỸ NĂNG SỐNG cho HỌC SINH nói chung, học sinh tiểu học nói riêng là một đề tài khá mới trong nghiên cứu về quản lý giáo dục tại Việt Nam. Các nghiên cứu đã có nhiều đóng góp trong việc xây dựng cơ sở lý luận về quản lý HOẠT ĐỘNG GIÁO DỤC KỸ NĂNG SỐNG cho HỌC SINH, đã mô tả thực trạng quản lý HOẠT ĐỘNG GIÁO DỤC KỸ NĂNG SỐNG cho HỌC SINH ở nhiều khía cạnh và đã đề xuất những biện pháp cần thiết và khả thi. Tuy nhiên, các biện pháp quản lý được đề xuất còn chung chung, chưa hướng dẫn cụ thể việc lập kế hoạch trong quản lý HOẠT ĐỘNG GIÁO DỤC KỸ NĂNG SỐNG, chưa đề xuất được nhiệm vụ cụ thể cho từng lực lượng giáo dục, thiếu tiêu chí đánh giá HOẠT ĐỘNG GIÁO DỤC KỸ NĂNG SỐNG, và đặc biệt là thiếu những số liệu về kết quả thực hiện để chứng minh tính khả thi và hiệu quả của các biện pháp được đề xuất. Đặc biệt, chưa có nhà nghiên cứu nào nghiên cứu về biện pháp quản lý HOẠT ĐỘNG GIÁO DỤC KỸ NĂNG SỐNG cho HỌC SINH tiểu học ở thành phố Hồ Chí Minh.
