Tập đoàn PPG được thành lập từ năm 1883 tại Pittsburgh PA, Mỹ. PPG có 13 ngành hàng kinh doanh chiến lược với 06 sản phẩm chính: sơn phủ, sơn thủy tinh, sơn nội thất, kính, vật liệu chuyên dùng và hóa chất với tổng doanh số là 13,4 tỷ USD (2010).

Tại Việt Nam, ngành sơn COEX ( Coil & Extrusion) của PPG hân hạnh phục vụ các sản phẩm chất lượng cao cùng với dịch vụ kỹ thuật chuyên sâu cho hầu hết các khách hàng lớn trong ngành tôn mạ màu, sơn bột tĩnh điện, bột sơn tĩnh điện phục vụ hầu hết các ngành công nghiệp nhôm kính xây dựng.
