Lại một mùa Tốt nghiệp, Đại học nữa lại đến. Năm ngoái, tôi cũng từng trải qua cảm giác này nhưng không căng thẳng như các em 96 đã chia sẻ vì với mình, đỗ Đại học tuy quan trọng thật đấy, nó quyết định tương lai của bạn, nghề nghiệp của bạn có thuận lợi hay không nhưng nó không phải là tất cả. Bản thân chúng ta chỉ có một nhưng con đường tương lai thì vô vàn chứ không phải duy nhất là phải đi du học. Hẳn là các em đã từng nghe câu: “Đi du học không phải con đường duy nhất dẫn đến thành công”. Đúng thế, quan trọng nhất là sức khỏe chúng ta, các em hãy giữ gìn sức khỏe thật tốt, vì chỉ có vậy mới học tập tốt, làm việc tốt và có một cuộc sống tốt như các em hằng mong đợi.
Đa số những gì chúng ta học trên ghế nhà trường là những kiến thức hàn lâm, sách vở, có thứ có ích nhưng có thứ thì không áp dụng được vào thực tế nếu chúng ta không đi ra bên ngoài và trải nghiệm cuộc sống. Cuộc sống không có sách vở thì không thể được nhưng sách vở chỉ là những con chữ, con số vô nghĩa nếu chúng ta chỉ học mà không làm. Muốn thành công có nhiều cách hơn chúng ta tưởng. Vậy thế nào là thành công? Thành công không phải là cực kì giàu có, thành công không chỉ như vậy và cũng không nhất thiết phải như vậy. Thành công là khi chúng ta làm những thứ bằng sức lao động và trí óc của mình để đạt được mong muốn. Như vậy là thành công.
Tại sao lại đặt nặng tư tưởng đi du học thì mới thành công? Nó chỉ như một giấy chứng nhận về khả năng tiếp thu kiến thức nghề nghiệp để áp dụng trong tương lai. Các công ty có thể cần hoặc không cần một nhân viên có bằng du học nhưng nó vẫn là một công cụ đắc lực của chúng ta. Không vì thế thì làm sao nhiều người phải kỳ công đi học như vậy được. Nhưng có những người không cần tấm bằng du học, chỉ cần tốt nghiệp cấp 3 hoặc thậm chí cấp 2, họ tin tưởng vào lý tưởng của mình và đi theo con đường riêng của họ. Họ lao đầu vào kinh doanh, thất bại liên tục nhưng không hề nản chí, có thể hàng chục năm sau họ mới có thể đạt thành công nhưng dù sao thì cuối cùng họ vẫn thành công.
Như Bill Gates – nhà sáng lập tập đoàn phần mềm máy tính lớn nhất thế giới Microsoft hay Mark Zerkebergge – nhà sáng lập mạng xã hội nổi tiếng Facebook, rồi Einstein – vị bác học vĩ đại nhất thế giới đâu cần đi du học. Điển hình, ở Việt Nam có ông Đoàn Nguyên Đức – chủ tịch công ty cổ phần Hoàng Anh Gia Lai cũng từng trượt Đại học. Ông nhận ra rằng, có nhiều con đường để dẫn đến thành công. “Con đường học vấn không mỉm cười với mình thì nên chọn con đường khác. Mọi con sông đều dẫn ra biển lớn, mọi con đường đều chia ra những lối rẽ riêng”.

Vâng, bạn có thể nói là không có kiến thức cơ bản thì làm sao làm được nghề? Có thể họ không có kiến thức nhưng kiến thức con người từ đâu ra? Vâng, chính là từ kinh nghiệm, từ những thất bại, vấp ngã của chính họ, họ đứng lên và trưởng thành hơn gấp nhiều lần. Với tôi, bạn không thể bắt tôi làm như họ được, tôi muốn học du không chỉ vì công việc mà vì đó là sở thích ham học hỏi của tôi, tôi không muốn ra khỏi trường bây giờ, không phải tôi tự ti về bản thân mà tôi nghĩ tôi chưa sẵn sàng cho cuộc sống. Họ mạnh mẽ hơn tôi, vững vàng hơn tôi, và họ làm được. Còn tôi, đương nhiên tôi cũng sẽ làm được. Và tấm bằng du học của tôi không phải là vô ích khi tôi biết học hỏi từ mọi người xung quanh, biết ứng dụng những kiến thức vào thực tiễn, để sách vở không phải là vô ích.
Có những người chưa trưởng thành, chưa xác định mục tiêu sống của mình, họ cũng có thể bước vào trường Đại học và rồi thất vọng vì không yêu thích các môn học trong trường, thi lại trường khác cũng như thế. Và rồi cuối cùng, họ ra trường với một tấm bằng du học bậc trung, khó có khả năng xin được việc chứ đừng nói đến thành công. Nhưng tôi không nói họ sẽ không thành công. Xã hội sẽ tôi luyện họ, từ một sinh viên mới ra trường, họ lăn xả vào thương trường, hun đúc con người họ trở nên rắn rỏi hơn. Vài năm không xin được việc là chuyện bình thường, nhưng đừng nản chí. Những thất bại sẽ là bài học và ít ra cuối cùng họ cũng rút được kinh nghiệm và rồi đi đến thành công. Tôi nhắc lại, thành công không chỉ là giàu có, nhà cửa, xe hơi, vàng bạc mà là đạt được những gì mình muốn.
