Chỉ số giá tiêu dùng 4 tháng tăng 0,04%, thấp nhất trong nhiều năm qua. Tín dụng đối với nền kinh tế tăng 3,97%, cao hơn nhiều so với cùng kỳ (4 tháng năm 2014 tăng 0,53%). Mặt bằng lãi suất tiếp tục ổn định và có xu hướng giảm. Tổng kim ngạch xuất khẩu tăng 8,2%. Thu ngân sách nhà nước tăng 9,4%, bảo đảm các nhiệm vụ chi theo kế hoạch. Vốn đầu t­­ư trực tiếp nước ngoài thực hiện tăng 5%, đạt 4,2 tỷ USD. Vốn ODA và vốn vay ưu đãi giải ngân tăng 11,4%. Tổng vốn đầu tư phát triển toàn xã hội quý I tăng 9,1%. Công tác quản lý thị trường, giá cả được tăng cường, điều hành giá xăng dầu theo cơ chế thị trường và phù hợp tình hình thực tiễn.

Tuy nhiên, nền kinh tế Việt Nam vẫn còn phải đối mặt với không ít khó khăn, thách thức. Nguồn lực cho phát triển còn hạn hẹp.
