Tết là một nét văn hóa đặc sắc của VN nước ta. Vào ngày trước Tết các trường học đều cho học sinh nghỉ để chuẩn bị đón Tết. Vì thế nên vào những ngày gần Tết học sinh chúng tôi đều rất vui mừng. Trong kì nghỉ Tết nhà nào cũng vội vã dọn dẹp lại để đón Tết. Nhà tôi cũng không ngoại lệ, vào những ngày nghỉ trước Tết tôi phụ giúp ba mẹ dọn dẹp nhà cửa, sắp xếp lại phòng ốc, thu dọn sách vở ngăn nắp. Nói chung là dọn dẹp phải mất ít nhất 1 ngày. sau khi dọn dẹp nhà xong, tôi cùng mẹ đi mua đồ tết, mua quần áo mới để đón Tết, mua bánh kẹo, nước ngọt để phục vụ cho ngày Tết. Sau đó gia đình tôi lên nhà ngoại để nấu bánh chưng, bánh tét. Buổi sáng 28 tôi cùng dì tôi đi mua bột để đổ bánh bông lan, đổ bánh mất hết cả buổi sáng. Buổi chiều tôi cùng ngoại tôi ra vườn để hái lá chuối để gái bánh chưng. Buổi tối đó tôi không ngủ mà cùng ngoại và mẹ tôi ngồi canh lửa để nấu bánh nên hôm sau tôi ngủ đến trưa . Buổi chiều thì tôi và dì lau dọn nhà lần cuối để đón Tết. Buổi tối tôi ngồi coi ti vi đến 11h30 rồi xách xe đi coi bắn pháo bông. Vào 3 ngày Tết tôi đi chúc tết ông bà và họ hàng. Khi nào rảnh thì anh em trong dòng họ rủ nhau chơi đánh bài. Hết 3 ngày tết thì tôi chỉ có ăn ngủ và lấy sách vở ra ôn bài cũ. Rồi ngày gần đi học tôi chuẩn bị sách vở để đi học. Và đó là 1 kì nghỉ tết của tôi. Đối với tôi, tôi rất thích Tết và đó cũng là điều yêu thích của mọi đứa trẻ.
