Thật khó để chúng ta có thể hỗ trợ nhau thật tốt trong công việc nếu chưa có thời gian để tiếp xúc, làm quen và tìm hiểu tính cách của nhau. Nhiều người luôn nghĩ mình “số một” và những người khác phải nghe theo sự sắp xếp của mình. Có người lại luôn “một lệnh” nếu không biết cách “quy về một mối” rất khó để chúng ta hoàn thành công việc xuất sắc công việc chung của nhóm vì thế kỹ năng tương tác rất quan trọng trong việc quản lí để có thể kết nối được các thành viên với nhau một cách dễ chịu nhất . trong khi làm việc nhóm bản thân tôi khá là độc đoán ý kiến riêng đôi khi không quan tâm và lắng nghe người khác , không tìm hiểu vấn đề khó khăn của nhóm. Để rõ hơn về sự yếu kém về kỹ năng này tôi xin kể một câu chuyện : vào năm nhất sinh viên , tôi có bài tập nhóm cùng 5 thành viên nữa và tôi được ủng hộ làm nhóm trưởng, khi họp nhóm phân tích vấn đề thì gặp phải những tranh cãi, khi các thành viên nói rằng tôi đã tôi lạc vấn đề rồi, tôi vẫn kiến quyết bản thân là đúng mà bỏ qua những lời khuyên của các thành viên và bảo họ hãy làm theo ý tôi. Cuối cùng bài của nhóm tôi điểm rất thấp vì làm sai vấn đề và nguyên nhân là bản thân tôi không chịu lắng nghe tiếp thu ý kiến của người khác
