Tính đến ngày 15/9/2016, toàn tỉnh Long An đã xây dựng hoàn thành CSDL địa chính của 55 xã, phường, thị trấn; trong đó có 02 huyện: Châu Thành và Tân Trụ được thực hiện theo mô hình tập trung (xây dựng bằng phần mềm ViLIS 2.0) - CSDL đất đai được tích hợp tập trung tại Sở TN&MT, kết nối trực tiếp đến Chi nhánh Văn phòng Đăng ký đất đai tại huyện thông qua đường truyền mạng Internet tốc độ cao, việc sử dụng, vận hành, khai thác, cập nhật, chỉnh lý CSDL đất đai tại cấp huyện được thực hiện trên cơ sở được phân quyền cho người có thẩm quyền để thực hiện.
