Kết quả: Theo nguồn số liệu báo cáo tiêm chủng thường xuyên của dự án tiêm chủng mở rộng ở 6 xã thuộc vùng nghiên cứu thì tỷ lệ tiêm chủng từ năm 1998-2002 luôn đạt từ 85-99% .Những năm gần đây khu vực Tây Nguyên số mắc sởi tăng lên và xuất hiện vụ dịch rải rác , năm 1998 số mắc 270/0 ( có hai vụ dịch với 169/0 Huyện IaGrai và 32/0 Huyện KonPlong), năm 1999 có một vụ dịch nâng con số mắc lên 713/1, số vụ dịch xảy ra rải rác và số mắc cao nhất lên đến 1759/0 năm 2000.Tỷ lệ trẻ có KT bảo vệ trước chiến dịch chỉ 64,4%, sau chiến dịch 3 tháng tăng lên 87,4% và sau 12 tháng tăng lên 90,7%.
