Sản phẩm quan trọng nhất mà rừng cung cấp cho nhân loại là nguyên liệu gỗ. Gỗ dùng để xây dựng nhà cửa, làm bàn ghế và các vật dụng trong nhà, dùng đóng tàu thuyền. 4/Rừng tạo độ phì nhiêu cho đất
