Súng AK, một trong những loại vũ khí cá nhân phổ biến nhất và tin cậy nhất trên thế giới. Loại vũ khí này cũng là trang bị chủ yếu cho cá nhân người lính của quân đội nước ta với mục đích gây sát thương cho mục tiêu bằng loại đạn kim loại.
Trong thời bình, chúng ta có nhu cầu biến loại vũ khí này có khả năng bắn được đầu đạn cao su (chỉ làm đau đớn mà không làm bị thương mục tiêu), bên cạnh đó vũ khí này phải hoạt động tự động như tính năng sẵn có của nó.
Luận văn này trình bày bài toán kỹ thuật tổng quát xảy ra khi súng AK bắn và qua bài toán đó đề xuất được giải pháp kỹ thuật cụ thể cho bài toán chuyển đổi chức năng cho loại vũ khí này.
