Với băng thông rộng và tốc độ truyền tải lớn, mạng 5G có thể phục vụ cho đô thị thông minh, nhà thông minh, ôtô tự hành, chăm sóc sức khỏe... khi cả thế giới bước vào kỷ nguyên Internet vạn vật. Đây cũng là con đường mà công ty công nghệ Mỹ đã lựa chọn khi các mẫu smartphone dùng chip Snapdragon có thể hỗ trợ các mạng khác nhau như LTE FDD, CDMA,WCDMA, GSM, dual SIM... để kết nối ở bất kỳ đâu trên thế giới
