Hơn nữa Tiếng Anh ở bậc tiểu học chỉ là môn học tự chọn, thế nên bản thân học sinh và ngay cả phụ huynh cũng chưa quan tâm đến bộ môn này, họ chỉ đầu tư cho con mình học nâng cao môn Toán, Tiếng việt ….
Chúng ta biết rằng, giáo viên dạy ngoại ngữ bây giờ càng ngày càng có nhiều phương pháp dạy khác nhau. Các sách hướng dẫn giáo viên thì ngoài việc giới thiệu về phương pháp bộ môn và hướng dẫn giảng dạy chung, còn gợi ý các thủ thuật lên lớp nhằm giúp cho giáo viên có thể lựa chọn ra những cách dạy hiệu quả nhất, đồng thời phát huy được vai trò tích cực của học sinh trong quá trình học tập. Song phương pháp tốt nhất là người giáo viên phải biết cách gây hứng thú cao trong tiết học để tạo tâm lý thoải mái cho các em và giờ học vừa đạt hiệu quả cao hơn.
III. GIẢI PHÁP VÀ CÁCH THỰC HIỆN:
* CÁC GIẢI PHÁP THỰC HIỆN:
1. Sử dụng linh hoạt các phương pháp và hình thức dạy học có hiệu quả:
Xuất phát từ thực tế của việc dạy học Tiếng Anh hiện nay, bản thân tôi đã và đang dạy học Tiếng Anh ở lớp 3:
Phương pháp dạy học nói chung cũng như trong dạy học Tiếng Anh nói riêng có rất nhiều phương pháp như: phương pháp đàm thoại, phương pháp động não, phương pháp giải quyết vấn đề, phương pháp làm mẫu.... mỗi phương pháp có ưu điểm, nhược điểm riêng vì vậy để giờ học thực sự hiệu quả tôi thường xuyên phối hợp chặt chẽ các phương pháp với nhau để giờ học thêm sinh động hấp dẫn gây hứng thú cho học sinh
Ví dụ: Khi tôi dạy trong phần look, listen and repeat đầu tiên tôi cho học sinh nhìn tranh sau đó tôi đọc mẫu hội thoại ( phương pháp làm mẫu) , sau đó học sinh nghe lời hội thoại và nhắc lại, tiếp đến tôi cho học sinh đóng vai nhân vật trong hội thoại và đọc lời hội thoại ( phương pháp đóng vai)
* Để học sinh chủ động hơn trong việc học ,tự các em chiếm lĩnh kiến thức , giúp đỡ , hướng dẫn bạn thực hành tốt hơn tôi thường xuyên phối hợp các hình thức dạy học như: cá nhân, thảo luận nhóm.
