Nhằm hiểu rõ hơn những mặt hạn chế khiến người dân chưa hài lòng, qua đó đề xuất những giải pháp thu hút hành khách lưu thông bằng xe buýt, vừa qua Trung tâm Quản lý và điều hành vận tải hành khách công cộng (QL&ĐH VTHKCC) TP.HCM đã thực hiện một cuộc khảo sát với 963 hành khách trên xe buýt và 2.761 hành khách qua website, kết quả cho thấy có 116 trường hợp ở nhóm thứ nhất và 241 người ở nhóm còn lại không hài lòng về tính đúng giờ của xe buýt. Ngoài ra còn có các nguyên nhân khác như tiện nghi xe buýt chưa đảm bảo, thiếu các điểm trung chuyển nên mạng lưới xe buýt không đảm bảo tính liên thông (gây trùng tuyến), văn hóa ứng xử của một số lái xe, tiếp viên và nhân viên điều hành chưa được tốt khiến người dân chưa được hài lòng…
