Để rút ngắn hơn nữa thời hạn loại trừ các chất HCFC theo Nghị định thư Montreal, Cục Khí tượng thủy văn và biến đổi khí hậu, Bộ Tài nguyên và Môi trường với sự trợ giúp của “Quỹ môi trường toàn cầu” thông qua cơ quan thực hiện là UNIDO, đã hoàn thành xây dựng và triển khai dự án “Trình diễn chuyển giao công nghệ giảm phát thải khí nhà kính và các chất làm suy giảm tầng ô zôn trong lĩnh vực kho lạnh tại Việt Nam” từ năm 2014.
