Công ty Cổ Phần Công Nghệ Sinh Học RỪNG HOA ĐÀ LẠT được thành lập vào ngày 10 tháng 10 năm 2003 với chức năng nghiên cứu và ứng dụng khoa hoc kỹ thuật trong lĩnh vực nông nghiệp, sản xuất – kinh doanh xuất nhập khẩu sản phẩm nông nghiệp:
- 10/2003: chính thức thành lập Công ty tại số 54A Hùng Vương, Đà Lạt với diện tích 5.000 m2 và hơn 40 lao động, chủ yếu sản xuất giống cây con bằng phương pháp Invitro đạt năng suất 300.000 cây giống/ năm, hoa lily cắt cành cung cấp cho thị trường nội địa và tư vấn kinh doanh vật tư nông nghiệp.
- Năm 2006: tiếp cận thị trường xuất khẩu, xuất giống cây con, hoa cắt cành sang các nước Châu Âu và Nhật Bản. Bước đầu nghiên cứu ứng dụng sản xuất hoa tươi mãi mãi từ các chuyên gia Nhật. Cuối năm 2006, Công ty mở rộng phát triển và được nhà nước giao 1.7 ha đất tại số 7A/1 Mai Anh Đào, P.8, Đà Lạt.
- Cuối năm 2007: Công ty bắt đầu đi vào hoạt động tại trụ sở mới, thành lập phòng thí nghiệm sản xuất giống cây con bằng phương pháp Invitro với năng suất đạt 7 triệu cây con/năm, từng bước tiếp cận và xuất khẩu sang các thị trường như Hà Lan, Đan Mạch, Bỉ, Trung Quốc, Nhật Bản.
- Năm 2009: sau 2 năm nghiên cứu, Công ty đã thành công trong việc sản xuất hoa tươi mãi mãi với tuổi thọ được kéo dài trên 3 năm. Ngày 08/11/2009, Công ty vinh dự đón Nữ Hoàng và Hoàng gia Đan Mạch tới thăm và cắt băng khánh thành Showroom hoa tươi bảo quản nghệ thuật. Cùng với sự ra đời của Showroom hoa tươi bảo quản, Công ty đã triển khai xuất khẩu hoa lily cắt cành cao cấp, du nhập các giống hoa mới lạ như đồng tiền, lily, salem về phân phối cho thị trường trong nước.
- Năm 2010: mở rộng diện tích lên đến 5 ha, nâng công suất phòng thí nghiệm lên 24 triệu cây con/năm. Ngày 23/01/2010, khánh thành Showroom Hoa tươi – Hoa chậu với diện tích 1200 m2 trưng bày hơn 2000 chậu hoa với hơn 100 chủng loại hoa. Đồng thời, khai trương Rừng Hoa Cafeteria phục vụ nhu cầu thưởng ngoạn khung cảnh Đà Lạt mộng mơ.
- Đầu năm 2012: hoàn thiện xưởng hoa tươi mãi mãi với công suất 1 triệu bông/năm đồng thời mở rộng thị trường xuất khẩu qua các nước như: Úc, Mỹ, Hàn Quốc.
- Cuối năm 2012: đầu tư vườn ươm hiện đại có diện tích là 1728 m2 với hệ thống điều khiển tự động, tái sử dụng nguồn phân giúp giảm chi phí sản xuất và bảo vệ môi trường, đã mở rộng thị trường khách hàng và tăng năng suất lên đến 4 triệu cây con/năm.
- Năm 2013: cùng với Showroom hoa tươi bảo quản và khu vực Bar - cafe hơn 1600 m2, Công ty đầu tư xây dựng siêu thị bán các mặt hàng nông sản cao cấp và nhà hàng phục vụ nhu cầu ăn uống khách tham quan. Ngoài ra, công viên vui chơi giải trí dành cho trẻ em, công viên hoa và khu vực cắm trại sẽ sớm đi vào hoạt động vào cuối năm 2013.
