Để nắm bắt một cách toàn diện những kiến thức chuyên môn Tiếng Anh ở bậc đại học đòi hỏi sinh viên phải có nhiều nỗ lực trong hoạt động học tập đặc biệt phải dành nhiều thời gian cho việc tự học và nghiên cứu. Đặc biệt, trong phương thức đào tạo theo học chế tín chỉ (HCTC), vấn đề tự học đóng vai trò quan trọng trong việc giúp sinh viên lĩnh hội kiến thức môn học cũng như phát huy năng lực của bản thân dưới sự hướng dẫn của giảng viên (GV). Đối với sinh viên Khoa Anh chuyên ngành vấn đề tự học càng có ý nghĩa quan trọng, thiết thực bởi lẽ sinh viên phải tự học, tự nghiên cứu tài liệu nhằm xây dựng cho bản thân kiến thức nền về chuyên ngành trong điều kiện đầu vào của sinh viên là các môn thi của khối ngành ngoại ngữ. Trên thực tế hiện nay, hoạt động tự học của SV Khoa Anh chuyên ngành Trường học Ngoại Ngữ - Đại học Đà Nẵng (ĐHNN-ĐHĐN) còn nhiều hạn chế, trong đó SV chưa dành nhiều thời gian cho việc tự học, chưa xây dựng và rèn luyện kĩ năng tự học cho bản thân, hình thức tự học chưa hợp lý... Chính vì vậy, việc nghiên cứu vấn đề tự học của SV Khoa Anh chuyên ngành Trường ĐHNN -ĐHĐN hiện nay và đề xuất các giải pháp nhằm đẩy mạnh hoạt động tự học của SV góp phần nâng cao kết quả học tập và chất lượng đào tạo là có tính cấp thiết . Xuất phát từ những lý do trên, chúng tôi chọn đề tài “Hoạt động tự học của sinh viên Khoa Quốc tế học Trường Đại học Ngoại Ngữ -ĐHĐN trong phương thức đào tạo theo học chế tín chỉ” để nghiên cứu
