Từ năm 2003, Việt Nam bắt đầu tham gia AFTA và sẽ hội nhập sâu với các điều kiện của AFTA vào năm 2006. Mặt hàng cao su được xếp vào danh mục giảm thuế bình thường theo lộ trình AFTA đã khẳng định tính cạnh tranh. AFTA sẽ tiếp tục tác động có lợi đối với các ngành cao su trong thời gian tới.

Since 2003, Vietnam started to join AFTA and will deep integration with the condition of AFTA in 2006. Rubber items are placed in the category of tax reduction normally under the AFTA Roadmap has confirmed the competitiveness.
