The terrain is plain interspersed with mountain. Tropical monsoon climate with hot, humid climate influenced by the ocean. There are two distinct seasons: the rainy season from September to December and the sunny season is from January to August. The annual average temperature is 26.5° C, annual average rainfall of about 1,600-1,700 mm. Phu Yen's population is 861,993 inhabitants (census of 1/4/2009) including 20% urban, rural 80%, the labor force accounted for 71.5% of the population.Phu Yen has nearly 30 nationalities live together. Health, Êđê Ba Na, Hrê, flower, Mnông, Raglai is the tribe who lived on the land Long.
