Công ty TNHH khai thác vàng Bồng Miêu hiện đang thực hiện công tác bảo vệ môi trường tuân thủ theo báo cáo đánh giá tác động môi trường và quyết định phê duyệt sau:
- Báo cáo đánh giá tác động môi trường Dự án khai thác và chế biến quặng vàng khu Núi Kẽm, mỏ vàng Bồng Miêu được phê duyệt tại Quyết định số 2340/QĐ-UBND ngày 27/07/2010 do UBND tỉnh Quảng Nam cấp.
- Quyết định số 1087/QĐ-UBND phê duyệt phương án mở rộng diện tích khu xử lý nước thải tháo khô mỏ khu Núi Kẽm, lưu giữ quặng thải và điều chỉnh quy chế kiểm soát môi trường khu Hố Gần thuộc mỏ vàng Bồng Miêu, huyện Phú Ninh do UBND tỉnh Quảng Nam cấp ngày 08/04/2011.
Trong thời gian vừa qua Công ty luôn thực hiện các biện pháp bảo vệ môi trường đúng theo báo cáo đánh giá tác động môi trường đã được phê duyệt. Qua thời gian hoạt động dài và đạt sự ổn định, lấy kinh nghiệm hoạt động của Mỏ vàng Đăksa thuộc thôn 4, xã Phước Đức, huyện Phước Sơn, tỉnh Quảng Nam. Công ty nhận thấy có một vài điểm cần điều chỉnh trong quy trình sản xuất và công tác bảo vệ môi trường nhằm đạt hiệu quả cao hơn nữa. Nội dung chi tiết điều chỉnh sẽ trình bày ở phần tiếp sau đây.
