Thế nhưng, bên cạnh đó, có rất nhiều những hạn chế để nói rằng 1 kì thi tiêu chuẩn là đủ để đánh giá cả về năng lực và trình độ của học sinh lẫn giáo viên. Đầu tiên phải nói đến, là cấu trúc đề thi hạn hẹp không đủ rộng để thấy được hết những kiến thức mà học sinh được học và được dạy.
