Từ thành phố Tuy Hòa, xuôi theo quốc lộ 1A về hướng Bắc 30km, sau đó đến thị trấn Chí Thạnh rẽ phải về hướng Đông 12km là bạn đã đến với Ghềnh Đá Đĩa (còn có các cách gọi khác là Gành Đá Đĩa). Thắng cảnh nổi tiếng này nằm yên bình bên bờ biển thuộc địa phận xã An Ninh Đông, huyện Tuy An, tỉnh Phú Yên. Suốt trên đường đi, băng qua những làng mạc yên bình khi thì đồi núi trập trùng, lúc lại thấp thoáng làng mạc với những cánh đồng lúa màu xanh tốt.

Được đánh giá là một trong số ít Ghềnh Đá Đĩa nổi tiếng, đẹp bậc nhất trên thế giới. Năm 1998, Nhà nước Việt Nam công nhận Ghềnh Đá Dĩa là thắng cảnh thiên nhiên cấp quốc gia nhưng thắng cảnh này vẫn chưa được nhiều người biết đến.
