Thị trường thức ăn chăn nuôi trong

Thị trường thức ăn chăn nuôi trong nước được dự báo sẽ tăng trưởng ở mức 13-15%/năm. Năm 2015, Việt Nam cần khoảng 18-20 triệu tấn thức ăn công nghiệp và dự báo đến năm 2020, con số này có thể tăng lên 25-26 triệu tấn. Nhu cầu thị trường còn rất lớn, song sản xuất trong nước chưa đáp ứng đủ, theo dự báo của Bộ Nông nghiệp và Phát triển nông thôn. Theo tính toán của Bộ Nông nghiệp và Phát triển nông thôn, mỗi năm Việt Nam vẫn phải chi hàng tỷ USD để nhập cả chục triệu tấn nguyên liệu sản xuất thức ăn chăn nuôi. Tính riêng năm 2014, Việt Nam đã chi trên 3 tỷ USD nhập khẩu thức ăn chăn nuôi. Nếu tính cả lượng nhập khẩu bắp, đậu nành và lúa mì, Việt Nam đã chi ra trên 4 tỷ USD.
